Universities, security and intelligence studies

Following the success of the 2015 SES Annual Seminar, held at the British Academy, the 2017 SES Colloquium was held on the topic of universities, security and intelligence studies. This two-day Colloquium, the first in a revised and expanded format, brought together the leading thinkers across the fields of security, intelligence and educational studies, and discussed implications for universities in the teaching of such topics, as well as applications in practice, with contributions from colleagues at NATO, RUSI, US Military Academy West Point, CIA, British Council and Cabinet Office.

Keynote speakers included Prof. Richard J. Aldrich, Prof. Christopher Andrew, Prof. John Ferris, Prof. Loch K. Johnson and Sir David Omand.
