Writers and their education

Writers and Their Education took place at Oriel College, University of Oxford, 20-21st September 2018. The Colloquium brought together delegates to participate in a scholarly examination of conceptions of education represented by the life and works of writers across all genres – literary and popular, cross-age fiction, including children’s literature – with a critical appraisal of their significance and value for the academic field of Educational Studies. Keynote speakers included Prof. Homi Bhabha, Prof. Noel Carroll,  Prof. Anthony Cascardi, Prof. Ivor Goodson, Associate Prof. Eileen John, and Prof. Zachary Leader.

The Colloquium programme and some selected photos can be found below.
